How does the bouquet preservation process work?
Preserve your memories…
-
Here is a summary of how this whole process works.
-
Once you book a reservation with me, I will send you detailed shipping instructions so that you know how to take care of your bouquet before sending and also how to package and send your bouquet to me.
-
As soon as I receive your bouquet, I will deconstruct it. Note: if your bouquet is already dried, I will start the design process once I receive it.
-
Then I immediately dry the flowers and greens in silica gel. They sleep in the silica anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks.
-
After 1-3 weeks (all flowers and greens dry at different rates), I carefully take them out of the silica gel.
-
After everything has dried and you have paid your invoice, I create 1-2 designs for only the larger keepsakes and send them to you for your approval.
-
After your design approval, I will begin the resin-pouring process. This takes 1-3 weeks, depending on the size of the keepsake.
-
After the resin has completely cured, I will take the keepsake out of the mold.
-
The entire keepsake is sanded, and then I add two coats of resin to ensure all edges are clear and smooth.
-
Next, I will photograph all of your keepsakes and send you the photos (unless you’d prefer it to be a surprise)
-
You will receive an email notifying you that your keepsakes are on their way.
-
You get to display your keepsakes in your home for you and your loved ones to enjoy.
